Since 1994 our goal is to provide quality, affordable beef, bison and hogs to our friends, family and customers.
We believe in a more natural, old fashioned way of raising livestock.
For example, instead of using herbicides to control weeds, we mow the pastures after we rotate the animals onto new grass pasture. This does not allow the animals to ingest chemicals which pass into the consumer. Yes, it is more work, but it’s better for the animals, and you. We have never used steroids, or growth hormones which would rapidly produce a steer in 13 months instead of their natural growth rate of about two years. We don’t use sub theraputic anti-biotics on the animals as they just don’t need it in our way of raising them. Feed your family clean, drug free meats at realistic prices.
Our beef and bison are always free ranged.
Some or our beef are allowed to eat a minimal amount of NON-GMO ground corn during the cold Winter months, the corn amounts to less that 5% of their food intake. Our beef that are 100% grass fed have no access to corn or other grains. You will know what variety of beef you are ordering and buying.
The bison are pasture raised and do not eat grains.
All of our livestock is locally raised and butchered in Southwest Wisconsin. All meat products are inspected by the State Ag Inspectors. After it is cut, labeled and quick frozen it is transported to our home in Schaumburg, IL. for customer pickup. No set hours for pick up--just give us a call.
Our farm is located approximately 1.5 hours west of Madison in Port Andrew, Richland County Wisconsin. 106 acres of rolling farmland give us plenty of room for pasture, and for making hay. We have worked hard to get our farm to where it is today, and frankly, we are proud of our accomplishments. In the spring we will have beef calves in the barns, and hopefully a few bison calves in the field. C’mon up and visit!
